Housify is built and operated by Housify Holdings LLC. It started as the internal system of a rental company managing single-family homes and townhouses across Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia — the books, the leases, the notices, the utility accounts, the court dates — and became a product when it turned out the hard parts were the same for every small landlord.

What we believe

• The ledger is the truth. Rent, late fees, deposits and bills live on double-entry books, and every notice, form and report is derived from them. Nothing is typed twice.
• Paperwork should write itself. A lease, its disclosures, the move-in checklist, the renewal offer and the court complaint are all produced from the record, signed electronically and filed where you will find them.
• Nothing fails silently. Every database error is captured with its exact message, every change is in the audit trail, and the app tells you what needs attention before you have to look.
• Local law is not an add-on. Maryland's Tenants' Bill of Rights, lead law, late-fee limits and District Court forms are in the product because we use them.

Who runs it

Housify Holdings LLC is a Virginia company. The product is run by the same team that manages the portfolio it was written for, so the software is used in anger every day before a change reaches you.
